I was at a type of old school carnival where people were playing the little shooting booth games. There was a place where they were serving food but also ended up being a sort of competition with people placing bets. There was someone who took a fish out of water and you could see its heart beating, he cut around it almost as if he was trying to restart his heart and save the fish, even though he took the fish out of water to begin with. There was also a turtle that I think died. I felt really tied to that fish, in a way that if it couldn't be saved then I couldn't be saved, like it would play some effect on my own life. Later on when it was closing time they announced the fish didn't make it and the feelings just sort of washed over me, I did feel it was too bad about the fish.
